It really feels like now is a good time to do those jobs at home you have been putting off. For me it was our sad, unused courtyard.
Here is what it looked like BEFORE:

It’s a small space, but it’s the centre of the home, and due to all our windows it’s a space that can be seen from many rooms in the house.
It is currently bare, it just has our large BBQ (Andrew’s pride and joy). It’s an area that really needed some love. Because no one in our home is very ‘handy’ I wanted to improve the area with furniture, plants, and cushions. The project needed to be quick and easy and easily achieved over a weekend.

The only negative about the courtyard space is it gets lots of sun all day so all the plants I have previously put in the space have died quickly. This is why I decided to go with fake plants for the area.
Everything I used to create my new space I purchased from bunnings. I could have easily done this from the comfort of my own home, simply by heading online to Bunnings.com.au, creating my Wishlist then ordering these items to be delivered straight to my home. You can also head in store, where the staff have been maintaining the strictest hygiene practices and ensuring all customers maintain the correct social distance.
I went in store but ultimately chose most of the items that were on my Wishlist. It was an easy process. I chose to have my items delivered to my home the very next day, for the bargain price of $40. The other option was hiring a Ute through Bunnings which cost $25 an hour ($200 deposit).
Here is the final result. I’m so pleased with how it’s turned out! I have linked all the items I used to create this look below:

These are the items I used to create the look:
